Staff Sgt. Crystal Cordroch, 82nd Mission Support Group enlisted executive and native of Thousand Oaks, California has been in the Air Force for nine years and is the Commander’s Wingman of Choice for the week of Jan. 19 – 25, 2016.

Most significant accomplishments:

“The most important decision I have ever made was to join the Air Force, and it turned out to be the best thing I ever did because it led me to my most significant accomplishment, which was becoming a wife and a mom,” Cordroch said. “I can truly say the Air Force has changed and affected everything in my life and I will always be grateful and continue to serve with integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do.”

“I am just your typical Air Force Staff Sergeant,” Cordroch continued. “I enjoy my job and I enjoy my free time even more. I have had a great life and enjoy doing a wide variety of activities. On my free time I love to work out, run, read, sleep, and hang out with my family.”

Commander’s Comments:

“Staff Sergeant Cordroch not only takes charge with much of the administrative actions and efforts within the MSG, but also backs up everyone else in the office and makes sure everything runs smooth,” said Lt. Thomas Denninghoff, 82nd MSG executive officer. “She has only been in the office for a short time, and received minimal changeover training due to her trainer’s deployment training, but she has already mastered the technicalities and eccentricities of the databases and processes we must work with. She holds the six squadrons in the MSG accountable and on track with their assigned responsibilities to ensure that the 82nd MSG Warriors are always in good shape and position to support all of Team Sheppard.”
