comments:
“Senior Airman Noll’s duties are critical as one of the
installation’s ‘First-Line of Defense,’” said Tech. Sgt. Lorri Lyons, 82nd SFS
pass and registration NCO in Charge. “She verifies access credentials using the
Defense Biometric Identification System which buoys installation force
protection actions. She also enforces the installation access process by
identifying personnel with disqualifying factors requesting base access, safeguarding
more than 16,000 personnel and $270 million worth of military resources.
“As the DBIDS Site Security Manager she assigns and manages
operator roles for DBIDS, maintains system operations 24/7 and is responsible
for more than $130,000 in equipment,” Lyons continued. “Even though she’s
assigned to an 82nd SFS staff position, she maintains a duty certification as
an installation entry controller which allows her to support Security Forces
flight operations during manning shortages or for special operations or events
such as Operation Nighthawk or the Sheppard Air Force Base Open House and Air
Show. Senior Airman Noll is dedicated, talented and loyal; definitely deserving
of recognition as the Support Airman of the Week.”
