Support Airman of the Week: A1C Asbell

Airman 1st Class Patrick Asbell, 82nd Logistics Readiness Squadron logistics planner and native of Memphis, Tennessee, has been in the Air Force since Jan. 12, 2016, and is the Support Airman of the Week at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, for the week of Dec. 20-26, 2016.

 

Most significant accomplishments:

 

“I aced my Career Development Course and have been working hard to understand my job,” Asbell said. “I have enrolled in a class towards my Community College of the Air Force and am excited to start my degree program. I’m also proud of my charger.” 

 

Airman’s story:

 

“I love baseball and my charger,” he said. “Family is important to me as well and I love to play basketball and lift weights in my spare time.”

 

Supervisor comments:

 

“Airman 1st Class Asbell is an outstanding performer and super sharp troop,” said Staff Sgt. Aaron Lenhart, Asbell’s supervisor. “He helps the wing complete its mission each day by keeping track of deploying personnel, maintaining plans and programs and ensuring that our support agreements are up to date.”
