Kraft Heinz Foods Recalls Turkey Bacon Products

Kraft Heinz Foods recalled approximately 2,068,467 pounds of turkey bacon products due to a possibility it may expire before the "Best When Used By" date.

Kraft Heinz Foods produced the turkey bacon between May 31, 2015, and Aug. 6, 2015. The food item subject to recall bears the establishment number "P-9070" inside U.S. Department of Agriculture mark of inspection, as well as the line number "RS19." These items shipped nationwide and exported to the Bahamas and St. Martin.

The following products are subject to recall:

· Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon 56 oz. cardboard boxes, containing four plastic wrapped packages.
Selects Uncured Turkey Bacon with "Best When Used By" dates of Aug. 24, 2015, through Oct. 26, 2015.

· Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon 36 oz. cardboard boxes, containing three plastic wrapped packages of Turkey Bacon.
Smoked Cured Turkey Chopped and Formed with "Best When Used By" dates of Aug. 28, 2015, through Oct. 20, 2015.

· Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon 48 oz. cardboard boxes, containing four plastic wrapped packages.
Smoked Cured Turkey Chopped and Formed with "Best When Used By" dates of Sept. 3, 2015, through Oct. 30, 2015.

Public Health confirmed that Sheppard Air Force Base does not carry the recalled products. Anyone concerned about an illness should contact his or her healthcare provider. Customers can return the items to the store where they purchased them for a refund.
