Public Health Notifies of Children's Water Bottles Due to Laceration Hazard

The 82d AMDS Public Health flight received a recall on water bottles. Brita has recalled 242,500 children water bottles due to reports of the bottle's lids breaking or cracking. Consumers should stop using Brita's recalled water bottles and call the company to receive a paid return shipping package for a full refund.

The four recalled water bottles have cartoon characters on a hard-sided plastic bottle with a Brita logo featured: Dora the Explorer, violet; Hello Kitty, pink; SpongeBob Square Pants, blue; and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, green. They are 16 inches tall, and can hold 15 ounces of liquid.

The bottles were NOT sold on Sheppard but were sold at Alaska Housewares, Associated Food Stores, Bartell Drug, C&S Wholesale Grocers, Quidsi, Royal Ahold, Shopko, Target, US Navy Exchange, Walmart Stores, and online at Amazon.com, Drugstore.com and Target.com.
