2013-2014 Holiday Exodus Information Published Oct. 11, 2013 By Marnie McKenzie 82d Force Support Squadron Information, Tickets & Travel Office SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The Information, Tickets & Travel (ITT) Office is ready to assist you with all of your travel needs (airline, shuttle tickets, etc.) and questions during the holiday exodus season. Exodus dates: 21 Dec. 13 - 2 Jan. 14 (Must return on 2 Jan. 13) Normal Operating Hours: Mon. - Fri. 10 am - 6 pm (Saturday, Sunday & Holidays Closed) Special Operating Office Hours - 1 Nov.-20 Dec.: Mon.-Fri.9 am - 6:30 pm *Due to airline ticketing restrictions clients must be signed in by 6 pm. *The office will also be open Nov 16 & Dec 14 from 9 am-12 pm for shuttle sales only.* Located on the first floor of the Community Center (Building 430) Call Marnie,Cindy or Joshua at 940-676-7014, 940-676-7018 or 940-676-7019 Things to remember when planning your trip: Airport Shuttle Buses available for Dallas Fort Worth (DFW), Dallas Love Field (DAL), and Oklahoma City (OKC) AIRPORT SHUTTLE BUS TICKETS: $110 Round Trip or $55 One Way A printed copy of your flight information must be presented in order to purchase a shuttle bus ticket. Because of long lines at airports and Christmas crowds, shuttle bus tickets will be issued a minimum of 5hours before airport departure time. Lost bus tickets will be assessed a $10 re-booking fee. Tickets are non-transferable, and no names will be changed. AIRLINE MILITARY DISCOUNTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE ON LINE. You will receive any available military discount for your flights through an authorized military leisure travel office. Flights will be limited after Thanksgiving thru the Exodus dates. Availability goes down, and the prices will go up. ITT issues tickets that are non-refundable. If changes to your ticket are necessary, an airline can assess a change fee of $ 200.00, plus any difference in the fare at the time the change is made. THIRD PARTY PAYMENT The ITT Office can accept payment from family members for airline or shuttle bus tickets, but you will be required to fill out a form provided by the ITT office for third party info, and be in the ITT office for the transaction. INSURANCE ON AIRLINE TICKETS We will sell insurance to cover airline tickets, which is a "Cancel For Any Reason", but only compensates 70% of the ticket price. Airline ticket is still subject to penalties from the airlines, and is not immediately refunded, as it is a third party insurer. Price of Insurance is based on the Price of the Air Ticket and will vary accordingly. READ YOUR ITINERARY CAREFULLY - Report any misspelled names, incorrect dates, flight times, etc. before your ticket is issued.
