Recall of Garden of Life RAW Products

On Jan. 29, 2016, Garden of Life, LLC voluntarily recalled a limited quantity of its RAW Meal Organic Shake & Meal products available in chocolate, original, vanilla, and vanilla chai because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

 

Salmonella is a bacterial infection that mostly targets the abdominal region. Symptoms include diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps. This illness usually lasts 4 to 7 days, and most individuals recover without treatment. Some key things to be aware of about this product are listed below:

 

           These products have a long shelf life and may still be in people's homes

           Consumers should not consume recalled RAW Meal products

 

The recalled products were available for purchase nationwide in many retail stores and online.
