McCain Foods USA, Inc. Recalls 25,215 lbs. of Pork Products

The 82nd AMDS Public Health Flight would like to inform you that McCain Foods USA, Inc. has issued a recall of their potato, egg, cheese, and bacon fritters that were produced on Nov. 11, 2015.  Approximately 25,215 pounds of bacon fritters may be contaminated with extraneous plastic materials.

The products affected with to this recall bear the establishment number “EST. 18846” located inside the USDA mark of inspection.  Also 1,681 cases bearing a batch code 1001487402 containing four 3.75-lb. plastic vacuum-packed packages containing “McCain EARLY RISERS Potato, Egg, Cheese & Bacon Fritters.”

The 82nd AMDS Public Health confirmed that Sheppard Air Force Base facilities DO NOT carry these products for sale.
