Recall of Wonderful Pistachios In-Shell And Shelled Pistachios

On March 10, 2016, Wonderful Pistachios voluntarily recalled a limited quantity of Wonderful Pistachios In-Shell and Shelled Pistachios because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The pistachios were sold under the brand names Wonderful, Paramount Farms, and Trader Joe's.

 

Salmonella is a bacterial infection that mostly targets the abdominal region. Symptoms include diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps. This illness usually lasts 4 to 7 days, and most individuals recover without treatment. Some key things to be aware of about this product are listed below:

 

           These products have a long shelf life and may still be in your homes.

           If you own a recalled product, please, DO NOT consume and Discard the product.
