Refrigerated salad recalled due to Listeria monocytogenes

Reser’s Fine Foods, Inc is recalling 19 refrigerated salad items due to the possible contamination of the bacteria Listeria monocytogenes.  This bacterium causes Listeriosis, a serious infection. Primarily, this infection affects older adults, pregnant women, newborns, and adults with weakened immune systems. Some symptoms may include fever and muscle aches, sometimes preceded by diarrhea.

Products affected in this recall can be identified by their production dates/identifying codes. The retail product is sold in plastic containers and is marked with a Use By Date and the #10 at the end of the line of printing.
