On Thursday, 19 May 16, road construction to repair intersection of Missile Road and Avenue D/E will move to the next phase.  The Contractor will place traffic control signs and barricades to close off the work area.  The eastern most lane (southbound left lane) of Ave D and western most lane (northbound left lane) of Ave E will be closed and will remain closed approximately two weeks.  (Picture included at bottom of word document).

Complete intersection repair will be accomplished in multiple phases, estimated completion late June 2016.

Drivers are asked to please respect barricades and exercise caution while driving around the construction area.  This project will be completed as quickly and as safely as possible, and we ask for your patience and cooperation during the construction period.

TMO: PCS Season Has Begun

Permanent Change of Station season is already underway, and the Traffic Management Office is reminding all who are slated to move to contact them as early as possible. There is only one authorized moving company in the area, so the sooner you engage with TMO, the more likely you are to get your desired move date.

JPPSO has been receiving a lot of short notice shipments.  Please enforce a 3 weeks’ notice for ALL shipments with and through your local TMO.  Shipments requiring pick up in less than 3 weeks must be coordinated with the applicable JPPSO prior to submission (NOTE: Excludes applications for tech training students).  Lastly, please include an alternate pack/pick up dates from customers on ALL shipments.

For more information about PCS shipments, call the TMO Office at 676-5499.

Reports of Survey

Reports of Survey are required to be initiated within fifteen days from the date of the discovery of the loss. This includes IT equipment, equipment items, COMSEC, vehicles, and all other accountable property.

GSA Policy Change

Effective Feb. 1, 2016 GSA Supply Acquisition Center stopped accepting orders below $3,500 as contracting regulations encourage customers to use their government purchase cards for these purchases. Base supply will continue to issue GSA items until stock is exhausted.

ITE Turn-in to Receipt-in-Place

To prevent errors causing the requirement for reports of survey on information technology the equipment custodian should have the 82 CS Equipment Control Office review all turn-in documents to ensure all required information (i.e. nomenclature, serial number, etc.) is accurate.  Receipt-in-Place Location personnel will accept ITE turn-in documents after 82 CS ECO office has reviewed. RIPL personnel will verify serial number of property against the turn-in document to ensure information is accurate. If you have any questions please contact RIPL at 676-4934.
