Hostess Brands have initiated a recall as a direct result of the recent recall by their supplier. The ingredient supplier, Grain Craft, issued a recall of its flour for undeclared peanut residue. Following the Grain Craft recall, Hostess Brands voluntarily recalled 710,000 cases of select snack cakes and donuts. The Hostess Brands snack cakes and donuts include single serve, multipack boxes, and bagged donuts.

While the amount of peanut exposure is considered to be low, the Hostess Brand Company has implemented the recall out of an abundance of caution.
