Kellogg Company: Peanut Residue

Kellogg Company has announced a voluntary recall of certain varieties of products. The recalled products may contain undeclared peanut residue. Kellogg initiated the recall after their supplier, Grain Craft, recalled wheat flour for the potential of containing low levels of peanut residue.

The levels of peanut residue is stated to be low by the Food and Drug Administration. However, those with severe peanut allergies should avoid these recalled products. The company has not reported any related illness to date and is taking action out of an abundance of caution.

PRODUCTS INCLUDED IN THE RECALL:

  • Mother’s

  • Keebler

  • Kellog

  • Special K

  • Famous Amos

Public Health confirmed that Sheppard AFB facilities DOES carry these products for sale. All products have been removed from shelves.
