SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --
Tech. Sgt. Terel Patterson,
361st Training Squadron aerospace ground equipment instructor and native of Napoleonville,
Louisiana, has been in the Air Force for 15 years and is the Instructor
of the Week at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, for the week of Nov. 1-7, 2016.
Most significant accomplishments:
- Proud father of a baby boy born on Sept. 19, 2016.
- President of the Friberg-Cooper Volunteer Fire Department in
Cashion, Texas.
- Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
Airman’s story:
"Becoming a master instructor allowed me to inspire
young Airmen in the ways of the Air Force,” Patterson said. “I want to teach
the Airmen what they will need to make good sound decisions and to give them
the knowledge to be able to help themselves make rank and succeed in the United
States Air Force. I want to lead them
down the path to their future."

Sgt. Brian Condie, assistant flight chief. “He sets the example for all
instructors civilian and military. Technical Sergeant Patterson started weekly Airmen mentoring sessions for the AGE
school house, were he provides guidance on what it means to be an Airman and
the Air Force way of life.”
