Sheppard AFB Photo Gallery

Thank you for visiting the Sheppard Air Force Base photo gallery. Since the site was established in 2007, thousands of images from training activities to support functions, family events and more have been captured and posted here. A change in the content management system has limited the number of gallery pages to 100, so guests will not be able to scroll through the pages to the very beginning of our collection. However, guests can search for images by using keywords such as names, a specific squadron, an aircraft, or event.

82nd TRW names quarterly award winners

Capt. Kenneth Poindexter (not pictured) was named the CGO of the Quarter May 16 during the 82nd Training Wing Quarterly Awards luncheon at the Sheppard Club. Captain Poindexter singled himself out by bringing in a new criminal and terrorist watchlist at the gates, resulting in 13 arrests in 40 days. He also initiated a neighborhood watch program in Capehart Housing with the Wichita Falls Police Department and supervised the John Tower Elementary D.A.R.E. program. Maj. Gregory Nowak, 82nd Security Forces Squadron commander, accepted the award on Captain Poindexter's behalf. Also pictured is Brig. Gen. Richard Devereaux, 82nd TRW commander.
