Sheppard AFB Photo Gallery

Thank you for visiting the Sheppard Air Force Base photo gallery. Since the site was established in 2007, thousands of images from training activities to support functions, family events and more have been captured and posted here. A change in the content management system has limited the number of gallery pages to 100, so guests will not be able to scroll through the pages to the very beginning of our collection. However, guests can search for images by using keywords such as names, a specific squadron, an aircraft, or event.

80th FTW names annual award winners

Second Lt. Shawn Burke is the 80th Flying Training Wing's 2006 Company Grade Officer of the Year. Lieutenant Burke set himself apart during his deployment to Mosul. The 80th Operations Group officer's abilities as a weather officer ensured weather forecasts were precise to enable the mission to continue. He also updated forecast reference notebooks. Back home, Lieutenant Burke was key in the planning stages of moving the weather section into its new home at the Airfield Operations Complex. He served as treasurer for Sheppard's Company Grade Officer Council and taught literature and folklore to a local Boy Scout Troop.
