364th Training Squadron fuels schoolhouse

Hard-boiled eggs go from a soft, squishy texture to frozen solid in a matter of minutes as they soak in a bath of frigid liquid nitrogen at the 364th Training Squadron's fuels schoolhouse at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, May 9, 2018. Although boiling when poured into a container, liquid nitrogen can reach temperatures of minus-346 degrees Fahrenheit. The liquid is used to inflate aircraft tires as well in on-board fire suppressant systems on aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo by John Ingle)
