Master Sgt. Deondra Parks, 88th Air Base Wing executive assistant to the command chief, shares her story of resilience after facing almost certain death at the hands of a gunman while she was in technical school. Parks shared her story at a Storytellers event held Nov. 9, 2018 at the Solid Rock Café on Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. Storytellers is a resiliency event where individuals are able to share their stories of resiliency and the importance of communicating with others when you have a problem.
