Man with ties to 82nd TRW lineage to be laid to rest
First Lieutenant Homer A. Spence, a P-38 Lightning pilot in the 82nd Fighter Group's 96th Fighter Squadron, had been missing since his plane went down in northern Italy in 1944, but his remains have been found and verified. He'll be laid to rest Nov. 18, 2017.
