Welcome to Team ENJJPT!

It is my great privilege to welcome you to the 80th Flying Training Wing, where we host the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) program, a one-of-a-kind organization that stands as the world’s only internationally manned and managed undergraduate pilot training program.

You are now part of an exceptional team, supporting the alliance, and training alongside NATO partners from 14 nations. Members of this wing uphold a legacy of excellence that began at Sheppard Air Force Base during World War II with glider and helicopter training. This training partnership evolved into modern jet training beginning in the mid-1960s when the U.S. and German air forces began a combined UPT program. As NATO grew and matured, so too did the German-US UPT program, ultimately resulting in the formal establishment of ENJJPT in 1981.  ENJJPT has continued to grow and expand to what we have today.

Below you will find a handbook full of information to help you get started at ENJJPT and assist you throughout your stay in North Texas. Leadership and support staff are available to assist throughout your journey.
