Travel related health risks such as extreme heat, unsafe food and water, and infectious diseases like Zika vary depending on travel patterns and destination.Your Public Health office wants you to be informed and prepared so that you can enjoy your trip.Public Health offers pre-travel information to those venturing outside the United States, to include those traveling on cruises. Many travelers may not be aware of the risks associated with their destination, but we are here to help. Public Health conducts preliminary research for travel destinations utilizing multiple resources and then advises travelers on appropriate vaccination recommendations, any medications you may need, a healthy travel packing list, and many other helpful tips.We want you and your family to stay healthy and safe during your trip!
