  • AETC leadership visits Sheppard

    Lt. Gen. Darryl Roberson, commander of Air Education and Training Command and Chief Master Sgt. David Staton, AETC command chief, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas, took a quick three-day trip to visit Team Sheppard June 28 – 30. The two top AETC leaders received mission briefings, participated in round table discussions and met with community leaders. The general, who graduated from pilot training at Sheppard in 1984, also held an all call in Hangar 1045.

    With recent accomplishments in hand, Sheppard’s men’s varsity softball team earns the number one Varsity ‘B’ rank and continues to advance toward the United States Specialty Sports Assoc. World Military Tournament, team coach says. “The Sheppard Senators have made tremendous strides towards our overall goal of being competitive in the a world Armed Forces championship tournament,” said Dr. Ronald Brown, 363rd Training Squadron training development and element chief, and Sheppard coach.

A military spouse wears many hats and in most scenarios, they are wearing multiple hats at one time to show their support for their family and the military.” Sharon Brown, Sheppard Enlisted Spouses Club vice president, a military spouse of 15 years, is one of many spouses on Sheppard who ensures military spouses are acknowledged and appreciated for their roles in supporting the military.
