  • Gunderson becomes 3rd ENJJPT grad to lead F-22 Demo Team

    U.S. Air Force Maj. Josh Gunderson takes over as the new F-22 Demonstration Team pilot and commander, Jan. 21, 2020, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va. Gunderson, who goes by the callsign “Cabo,” will lead the 14-member demo team for both the 2020 and 2021 show seasons.

  • La Grange, N.C., native ACEs avionics course

    Airman Jacob Sager, 365th Training Squadron avionics systems apprentice course graduate, scored 100 percent scores on all his performance checks and tests during his 94 day (794 hours) of technical training and earned the ACE award. An impressive feat for anyone who has seen the training books.

    German air force Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Ingo Gerhertz earned his wings as a graduate of the 80th Flying Training Wing’s Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training Program in the late 1980s and returned Dec. 13, 2019, to visit program, graduation.
