    Staff Sgt. Allison DeJesus, 82nd Dental Squadron dental laboratory technician and native of Omaha, Nebraska, has been in the Air Force for seven years and is the Support Airman of the week at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, for the week of 2-8 Aug. 2016.
  • Instructor of the Week: TSgt. Burdick

    Tech. Sgt. Jasmine Burdick, Sheppard NCO Academy instructor and native of Charleston, South Carolina, has been in the Air Force for 18 years and 11 months, and is the Instructor of the Week at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, for the week of 2-8 Aug. 2016.

  • Kellogg Company: Peanut Residue

    Kellogg Company has announced a voluntary recall of certain varieties of products. The recalled products may contain undeclared peanut residue. Kellogg initiated the recall after their supplier, Grain Craft, recalled wheat flour for the potential of containing low levels of peanut residue.
  • Hostess Brand Recall: Selected Cases of Snack Cakes and Donuts

    Hostess Brands have initiated a recall as a direct result of the recent recall by their supplier. The ingredient supplier, Grain Craft, issued a recall of its flour for undeclared peanut residue. Following the Grain Craft recall, Hostess Brands voluntarily recalled 710,000 cases of select snack cakes and donuts. The Hostess Brands snack cakes and donuts include single serve, multipack boxes, and bagged donuts.
  • Kashi Company Recall: Variety of Products with Potential Listeria

    Kashi Company is voluntarily recalling a variety of products due to the potential health risk from an ingredient supplier, SunOpta. The recall includes two varieties of Snack Bars and two varieties of Bear Naked Granola that consist of ingredients from the sunflower seed supplier, SunOpta. Kashi Company is expanding its previously announced Snack Bar recall to combine with additional potentially affected products.
  • General Mills Recall: Nature Valley Protein Chewy Bars & Nature Valley Simple Nut Bars

    General Mills has issued a recall as part of the supplier SunOpta’s ongoing national recall for potential presence of Listeria monocytogenes. There are four specific flavors of Nature Valley Protein Chewy Bars and Nature Valley Simple Nut Bars part of this recall. These products of General Mills contain ingredients from the sunflower kernel supplier, SunOpta. General Mills has not received any reports of confirmed cases related to this supplier issue.
